Simply by virtue of competing in the 2018 World Men’s Curling Championship, Niklas Edin has already set a new world record:  Most appearances by an individual curler ever in Las Vegas.

The World Curling Federation announced recently that Edin will skip the Sweden entry March 31 – April 8 at the Orleans Arena.

Having participated in the 2014, 2016 and 2017 Continental Cups – and now the 2018 World Men’s – Edin will be making his fourth trip to Las Vegas in five years.  But having been part of a Team World that came up just short of the crown on his previous trips, this time he has full intentions of leaving town with the official hardware.

“To have team Niklas Edin back in the fold one more time, with a world championship on the line, makes us, as organizers, feel thrilled and privileged all at the same time”, said Jon Killoran, event manager.  “They continually bring out the best in their competitors, as well as the fans in attendance.  They are a great base from which we begin to announce the entire field that will be here competing”.

Team Edin is getting set to represent Sweden at the Winter Games, with Las Vegas 2018 set to follow just five short weeks later.

Ticket packages, as well as single draw tickets for the 2018 World Men’s at the Orleans Arena are available online at www.LasVegasCurling.rocks.
