 VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are the backbone of events – it is the value of these extra hands that enables organizations to offer activates that may not otherwise happen.  Their meaningful contributions both behind and in front of the scenes are indispensable and their tireless efforts are often as profound as the event itself.

Over the years, our curling events in Las Vegas have benefited from the dedication and efforts of our “volunteer family”.  They come to Las Vegas from far-and-wide, from Germany and Australia as well as almost every Canadian province and several states in the U.S.  One of the hardest things to do at the end of the event is to say good-bye to these awesome people.

The Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling MERIDIAN Open Las Vegas will bring together the best in curling from competitors, to spectators, to volunteers – becoming a community with one goal in mid – a great curling event.  Volunteers invest their time, ensuring not only that this competition is successful, but memorable for all parties – from organization to participant level, attendees and everyone in between.

That said, in order for us to get a complete vision of the volunteer force needed to stage the historic first-ever Grand Slam of Curling series event to venture out of Canada, we will be attending the next event in the series, The Players Championship, April 7-12 in Toronto.

We will begin accepting volunteer online applications for the 2021 MERIDIAN Open Las Vegas no later than May 1, 2020.
