For those who can’t drink in all the excitement of the 2019 World Financial Group Continental Cup for the full four days, here’s a thought …order the half cup.

With three parts Scramble and two parts Skins, our “Weekender” concoction is unlike anything else you’ve ever sampled at a curling event.

For just $149, fans can slide in to the same great seats for the final two days of the competition – three draws on Saturday, all featuring the innovative new Team Scramble format -   followed by two on Sunday, when all the drama builds to a resounding “cheers” with six incredible Skins matches.

John Shuster, skip of the team that won Olympic gold for USA last year says this is the package a lot of people are looking for.  “In our travels, we meet people all the time who say they can’t get away to Vegas for the whole time but a weekend package would be great.  So here you go!”

Shuster’s foursome will be joined by five other men’s and women’s teams from North America, up against six of the best from the rest of the curling world, including World champion Niklas Edin and Olympic gold medal winner Anna Hasselborg.

Jon Killoran, event manager and CEO of the Reno Tahoe Winter Games Coalition, echoed Shuster’s comments.  “For fans who are thirsting for just a taste of the action, our half cup is the perfect choice.  We know this from the experience of our past events, with loads of people flying in for the weekend”.

The World Financial Group Continental Cup will be held January 17-20 at the renowned Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.  The event is owned by Curling Canada and is being operated through a business arrangement with USA Curling and the Reno Tahoe Winter Games Coalition.
