With those immortal words … the much anticipated draw schedule for the 2019 World Financial Group Continental Cup in Las Vegas has been released.  And yes … it’s All Shook Up!

For starters, only two draws of the entire eleven will be dedicated to traditional Team games.  Meanwhile, a whopping four draws will feature the surging  Mixed Doubles discipline, with three draws based on the new Team Scramble games and the final two draws going the way of the high-intensity Skins format.

“Ever since the Continental Cup was introduced in 2002 – long before we ever dreamed of bringing curling to Vegas – it has been viewed as the most unique curling event in the world”, says Jon Killoran, event manager and CEO of the Reno Tahoe Winter Games Coalition.  “Unique is no longer an adequate superlative”, he continued.  “The new Team Scramble draws are going to add a whole new layer to what has already been established as the most fun place on the planet to watch live curling.  Suffice to say, nobody will know exactly how much fun will be had until Elvis and the last fans have left the building”.
