2017 FAN GUIDE

Whether you come from near or far, we are looking forward to welcoming you to the 2017 World Financial Group Continental Cup presented by Boyd Gaming.  This marks the third time in four years that the event has called Las Vegas home.

To help you plan for your visit and make your attendance a truly memorable and enjoyable time, we are providing you with this fan guide, detailing various information covering from the time you arrive through the entire event.

Flying in to Las Vegas

Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport is conveniently located near the south end of the Las Vegas Strip.  Most hotels do not run their own shuttle service to and from the airport, but you should check with your hotel to see if they do.  The Orleans Hotel and Casino and the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino do not have dedicated shuttle service.  Pay services are available.  You can learn more about them at https://www.mccarran.com/go.aspx A one-way taxi ride from the airport to The Orleans should run between $17-$22usd and $22-$25usd to the Gold Coast, depending on the cab company.  If you rented a car, you will most likely have to take the convenient free shuttle bus from the airport to the nearby rental car center.  Check with your rental car company for further details.

Complimentary Shuttle Service

The Local Organizing Committee and Presenting Sponsor, Boyd Gaming have partnered with Bell Transportation to offer complimentary shuttle service between The Orleans Hotel and Casino, its sister properties the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino as well as the Las Vegas Strip.  All shuttles will arrive and depart from The Orleans Hotel and Casino’s designated shuttle stop on the Tropicana Avenue side(south entrance)  of the property.

Orleans – Gold Coast – Las Vegas Strip

Additional buses are being added to handle the high demand of this regular complimentary shuttle service, which is two-fold in purpose:

-to allow those staying at The Orleans to visit the nearby Las Vegas Strip, with drop-off at the Hi Roller Ferris Wheel near the LINQ hotel and across the street from Caesars Palace

-to provide our Gold Coast guests, and fans staying at other nearby properties with convenient transportation to the Orleans (Guests staying at the Palms, Palm Place and Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino can walk the short distance to catch the shuttle at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino.  Guests staying at Bally’s, Caesar’s Palace, The LINQ and The Mirage can catch the shuttle at the Hi Toller Ferris Wheel)

On Wednesday, January 11th, additional busses will be added to the regular complimentary shuttle service to the Opening Ceremonies from the Gold Coast at 6:30 pm and will continue every 15 minutes until 7:45 pm. Return service after the Opening Ceremonies will begin at 9:30 pm and continue every fifteen minutes until 11:30 pm.

On event competition days (Thursday, January 12th. thru Sunday, January 15th.) , shuttle service will begin one-and-a-half  hours before the first draw begins each day, as follows:

o   Beginning at 7:30 am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday

o   Beginning at 11:30 am on Sunday

Service will continue throughout the day until one half hour after The Patch closes each night, as follows:

o   Until 1:30 am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights

o   Until 12:30 am on Sunday night

Bell Transportation coordinators will be on hand at most locations to answer questions and adjust the frequency of shuttle service, if necessary.
